Chess wins supply panel placement

In early November, Chess Engineering was granted a supply panel agreement with a major rail network to supply services for Heavy Plant Maintenance and Fabrication.

Bryan Pieper, Chess Engineering Rail said, “Chess is ideally suited to provide these rail services. Our staff brings to the market many years of knowledge and experience as a provider of inspection, maintenance and fabrication services. Combine that with the machinery and equipment we have available both at our factory and through our mobile service trucks, Chess is becoming a leader in these services. Being selected on the panel for these maintenance and fabrication services will enhance our current capability and give Chess even more experience and familiarity in working with this type of machinery.”

Being selected on the panel involved being able to offer a variety of specialist services including electrical, pneumatic, welding and fabrication, mechanical, and general services such as painting, as well as services across a number of categories of heavy plant maintenance and fabrication services on the following type of machinery:
