Air Operated Reversing Whistle Assembly (Kit)09-01-0011
Used as part of the pneumatic system
This kit is used as an alternative to an electrical reversing buzzer for systems that do not have an electrical setup. This Kit contains an Air Filter, a Pilot Valve, an Inline Flow Control Valve, Brass Whistle, and a continuous to pulsating air flow mechanism.
The Air filter ensures that the air flowing into the reversing whistle systems does not contain any debris that could get lodged into its components and stop operation.
The Pilot Valve provides the mechanism by which the reversing siren is activated and deactivated. When the gear on the vehicle is changed into reverse, a hydraulic switch is activated to allow the flow of air through the system to whistle. When the gear on the vehicle is change from reverse, a hydraulic switch is deactivated to block the flow of air through the system to the whistle.
The Inline Flow Control Valve controls the amount of air flow that is allowed to pass through into the Brass Whistle. Consequently, this valve controls the strength of the siren made by the Brass Whistle.
The Brass Whistle is the mechanism by which a high-pitch sound is produced when air flows through it.
Lastly this kit provides an inbuilt mechanism that converts a continuous air flow into pulsating bursts. When directed into a whistle, a high-pitch pulsating sound is released to produce a reversing sound.
